Jammu, Mar 1: Students of Kids Planet Public school Akhnoor, exhibiting exemplary sense of social responsibility and have raised a fund amounting to Rs. 1,12000 for Helpage India, an international level social Organisations, working for welfare of senior citizens throughout country.
A formal prize distribution function organised at school premises in which appreciation certificates & prizes were distributed among the deserving students.
Speaking on the occasion Neeru Sharma Khajuria assured that the amount raised by the students would be utilised for different age care projects & programmes. Sharma thanked all the school children , parents, Principal and teachers. Chairman, Rohit Gupta and Principal Mona Gupta along with other coordinators were also present on the occasion.
