JAMMU, Mar 5: In connection with 49th National Safety week celebrations, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited organized a first-aid (Basic Life Support) employee relocation Council (ERC) training.
It was done in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region. The beneficiaries were the employees from Power Grid and their families. Active participation was shown by the children also.
The training was imparted by Dr. Shelly Mahajan (M.D. Anaesthetic) Medical Officer, Red Cross Jammu Region. Highlights of the programme were how to resuscitate a patient of fainting and Cardiac Arrest. Emphasis was laid on the Management of injuries, fracture, burns, control of bleeding, practical demonstrations of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation and Choking were done with the active participation of children and ladies of the group. |
