Coronavirus: Missing suspected patients brought back to Jammu hospital

Jammu, Mar 5: Two suspected patients of Corona Virus, who went missing from the isolation ward, were brought back and quarantined in the Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu here on Thursday.
“Both the patients have been brought back and quarantined in the Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu,” Dr Sunanda Raina, Principal, Government Medical College and Hospital here said.
They are observation in the isolation ward, added the Principal.
She said that hospital had their record before they were admitted in the isolation ward and when they fled, the hospital staff visited to their residences, they were counselled and brought back.
She however, said that no fresh positive case has been reported so far of the epidemic.
Two suspected patients who were quarantined in the Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu, on Wednesday night fled from the hospital putting the lives of thousands of others at risk.
The authorities had said that two people with a travel history to Italy and South Korea were quarantined after they displayed symptoms of coronavirus.
They were quarantined at the facility set up at the Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu.
