| JMF welcomes lifting of ban on social media | | |

JAMMU, Mar 5: Jammu Muslim front (JMF ) has welcomed the lifting of ban on social networking sites in Jammu and Kashmir.
Chairman Shuja Zaffer on Thursday welcomed Lieutenant Governor Girish Chandra Murmu for restoring internet gag which has given relief to the people of Jammu and Kashmir who were deprived of Internet since post abrogation of Article 370 and 35A on August 5, 2019.
He said that the curbs have been eased only for postpaid mobile subscribers with speed restriction to 2G networks only. He also hailed and said that it is after a gap of seven months that the J&K government lifted curbs on social media. |
