SAKRS announces elections in October

Jammu, Mar 7: Shree Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha announced that elections of the sabha shall be held in the month of October this year after membership drive in press conference held under chairmanship of Abhijeet Singh Jasrotia, Chief Convener cum General Secretary.
He informed the media that last time elections were held about 17 years ago and the community wants to see an elected face through free and fair elections. “It is a big responsibility to conduct the elections after building a strong electoral college by involving all community members from all districts and remote areas”, said Abhijeet Singh Jasrotia.
Abhijeet Singh Jasrotia said that the community needs to get united for the betterment and welfare of underprivileged sections and needs to create educational institutions and other community infrastructure. He also thanked Pavitar Singh, (Retd Judge), President, Shree Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha, J&K for giving him the opportunity to serve the community. Abhijeet Singh Jasrotria also expressed his commitment to resolve all pending issues that the sabha is facing at present by a few persons who have held the sabha hostage for the last over 14 years.
