Rajouri, Apr 12: The local youths of Rajouri district today felicitated Station House Officer (SHO) Rajouri Sameer Jilani for his continuous endeavours in maintaining law and order during complete lockdown in view of COVID-19. The felicitation programme was held in complete compliance of guidelines by maintaining social distance. The youths cutting across religious lines from Hindu and Muslim community collectively honoured the police officers for his hard work, dedication, devotion towards his duty. He was also appreciated for punishing those who violated the lockdown. He took every possible step to save the lives of the residents of Rajouri. The initiative of honouring SHO Rajouri was taken only to boost the morale of police who are fighting against COVID-19 round the clock. Besides, the youths also honoured other police officers and other police personnel. Meanwhile, the youths also poured praise in favour of the SSP Rajouri Chandan Kohali for his efforts. |
