UDHAMPUR, Apr 12: Former MLA, NPP President Balwant Singh Mankotia hailed the decision of Government to stop the tradition of “Darbar Move”.
In a handout issued here today, Mankotia informs that he has raised his voice from Road to Assembly to stop the tradition of Darbar Move, it was the prime demand in Panthers Party’s manifesto. He expressed his gratitude towards the Government & said that huge amount of approx 600 cr every year was spent on this Darbar move which was huge financial burden on Jammu Kashmir, now that amount will be used in the development of both the regions.
Mankotia said that J&K was the only state who has two Chief Engineers of PHE, PDD, Two directors of School Education etc so there was no need of Darbar Move, he added. |
