JK Yateem foundation distributes ration worth Rs 1.95 lakhs among 136 beneficiaries | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar May 7: The local and Union Territory base NGOs are continuously providing helping hand to the poor and needy during the ongoing lockdown due to prevailing COVID 19 pandemic and in one such effort, the Jammu and Kashmir Yateem Foundation today distributed ration worth 1.95 lakhs among the 136 beneficiaries at Kishtwar in presence of District Administration. As per the details available with Early Times, the distribution was carried out with the permission of Worthy District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Rajinder Singh Tara and in presence of Naib Tahsildar Javed Iqbal Khanday, JK Yateem Foundation Kishtwar distributed ration kits amounting Rs.1,95000 among widows, orphans and poor families belonging from proper Kishtwar at Bait-Ul-Hilal Kishtwar with adopting all precautionary measures of COVID-19. District president J & K Yateem foundation Ghulam Abbas Waza appealed cross section of society to come forward for reaching out to the poor and needy with minimum levels of subsistence and other facilitation for their welfare and rehabilitation during COVID-19 lockdown restrictions. “This initiative is aimed at the welfare of society particularly the widows ,poors so as to equip them with adequate resources, without any discrimination on the basis of caste colour creed”. On the occasion Chairman Bait-Ul-Hilal Orphanage Kishtwar Javed Iqbal kripak appealed the people to follow the advisory of the government regarding the social distancing, health and hygiene to save the country from this pandemic and also appealed to donate more and more for this noble cause.
