JAMMU, May 7: It has been 46 days since the lockdown was imposed in view of the Coronavirus pandemic and all through this period social activist Raj Kumar Nischal is doing his best to provide langars to the elderly, daily wagers, specially-abled, homeless and other people. Nischal said, “Listening to my conscious I am providing langars to all the people without looking going in details of caste or creed. I do not refuse if anybody comes to me for seeking ration or any other help. I don’t think twice, to provide a helping hand.” Nischal said that besides ensuring social distancing among the people, he is trying to serve people with all his ability and resources in hand. “I have faced a couple of problems during the distribution of langars but somehow I managed. I have been taking necessary hygiene precautions by wearing gloves and face masks and using hand sanitizers during food preparation and distribution. I feel that as human beings, it’s our responsibility to help the most vulnerable amongst us in their time of need. I appeal to all citizens of Jammu to join me and serve for the humanity,” said Nischal. |
