JAMMU, May 7: Continuing its endeavour to help the people of Rajouri who are facing great hardships during the period of lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Rajouri, through its Retainer Lawyers and Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) facilitated the local residents in the distribution of ration at the ration depots, getting gas cylinders, medicines, old age pension, transportation in medical exigency, cash withdrawal from the banks with the active participation of local administration. PLVs also facilitated the migrant labourers in getting ration. PLVs made the local residents receptive to maintain social distancing, wash hands regularly and to visit nearby doctor in case of any problem. DLSA Rajouri also conducted medical camp and distributed sanitizers, soaps to the local residents and fumigation and sanitization activities were also carried out from time to time with the active co-operation of Municipal Committee Rajouri. The programme was conducted under the guidance of the Chief Justice of J&K High Court, Justice Gita Mittal and Executive Chairman JKSLSA, Justice Rajesh Bindal and under the supervision of chairman DLSA Rajouri Jaffer Hussain Beig.
