| Sadak Ki Ghatnayian staged | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 18: Lalded Women Welfare Society staged nukkad (corner) play ‘Sadak Ki Ghatnayian’ today at Jammu in presence impressive gathering including eminent citizens of the area. The Play is written by Surya Naryan and Directed by Naveen Pal.
The play opens with a male character Nattu who runs a shop in a busy chowk and in the lust of earning more money he extended his roof of shop for beyond 6 feet so as to keep extra visibility and to garner maximum customers at the shop, when the authority requested him to close down his extra extension so that same may not create any problem to the road walkers but instead of following the instructions he reacted opposite and started quarreling with them.
In the same moment a customer appeared there namely Sonu in the shop and after finding trouble with some officials he requested Nattu that he should follow the instructions and fold his extended polythene made roof because it is against the law to keep unauthorized iron rods which are fatal for others
The performance was done by Pinki and Ashok as Directed by Naveen pal actor and director, enacted various characters during this performance. |
