Jammu, June 9: The leaders of Jammu Kashmir Medical Employee Federation & Jammu Kashmir Govt Pharmacist Association, Jammu today
visited at Quarantine Centre Thandi Khuie, Distt Samba; Emergency Hospital Vijaypur and Distt Hospital samba under the leadership of Sushil Sudan State President JKME Federation, Jammu along with Jarnail Singh Choudhary Working President, JKGP Association, Jammu and Kamal Jit Sawhney General Secretary, JKGPA, Jammu.
During the tour, they met with COVID -19 Front Line Healthcare Workers and Doctors who were on roster duty. In front of the leaders, Front line Health care workers projected some demands such as Special Incentive in favor of all COVID-19 front line workers as per the analogy of Haryana Govt i.e double pay to all front line workers. They also expressed serious concerns over health workers who get infected positive while rendering their selfless services in health institutions and also demanded that they should be treated in Narayana Hospital Karkyal, Jammu. Sushil Sudan listened to their demands patiently and said that federation would extend all possible support so that Health care workers does not face any difficulty while discharging its duties. He urged to the higher authority of the Health Department to arrange suitable accommodation like Narayana Hospital in Karkyal or some Govt guest houses having first class facilities are provided for isolation of symptomatic COVID positive healthcare workers from class IV to doctors to boost the morale of front line workers. |
