BJYM becomes ‘laughing stock’ by holding protest amid lockdown
6/10/2020 12:18:21 AM

Early Times Report

Jammu, June 9: By holding a protest against the killing of Congress Sarpanch, Ajay Pandita (Bharti), the youth wing of BJP has become a laughing stock because there was no reason for protest when the party is in power at the Centre and in J&K also.
And more shockingly, BJYM workers staged protests by violating social distancing norms and without wearing masks. Making a mockery of the lockdown restrictions and norms issued by the Union Home Ministry to check spread of Covid-19, BJYM workers were gathered at Kacchi Chowni to hold symbolic protest, allegedly just for “photo session”
BJP is running the government at the Centre and in J&K is directly under the Union Government. Instead of ensuring security to all political workers, it was all due to interference of BJP leaders that security many Congress leaders were withdrawn.
Instead of going to the residence of the martyr's family, publicity hungry BJYM leaders preferred to hold a protest amidst lockdown which was illegal and illogical.
As per official handout issued by the party, BJYM held a protest under the leadership of Arundev Singh against the brutal killing of Ajay Pandita(Bharti), the Sarpanch of Lakhipora area in Anantnag by the Pak sponsored terrorists in his native village.
Singh said that the way, in which Sarpanch Ajay Pandita was killed in cold blood shows the frustration of terrorists to disrupt the ongoing peace process in Kashmir. Pakistan and its sponsored terrorists will have to pay a heavy price for their misdeeds and their attempt to silence the voices of people in Kashmir will go in vain.
