Uncertainty over new posting of former MD J&KHDC 6/13/2020 11:25:44 PM Ishtiyaq Ahmad Early Times Report Srinagar, June 13: Around three months have passed since the government approved merging of two corporations, uncertainty continues over new posting of one of the former Managing Directors of a corporation. In March this year, the government approved merging of J&K Handicraft (S&E) Corporation and J&K Handloom Development Corporation into J&K Handloom (J&KHDC) and Handicrafts Marketing Corporation (JKHHMC). The government recently appointed Hashmat Ali Yatoo as Managing Director Jammu and Kashmir Handloom and Handicrafts Marketing Corporation. However, the government is undecided over the new posting of Rakesh Sharma, former Managing Director of J&K Handloom Development Corporation (J&KHDC). “No decision has been taken over the posting of Sharma neither he has been attached with any department yet,” an official said. “The government should clear the air whether they want to give him any new posting,” the official said. Rekesh Sharma also confirmed that he has not been given any new posting yet. “I am not aware about my new posting yet,” Sharma said.
