| Protest demonstration held at Anandpur | | |

SAMBA, June 13: With a view to highlight the problems, the people of the villages Anandpur, Loveli, Chilla Danga held a protest demonstration under the leadership of BJP leader and working committee member J&K (UT) Arun Sharma at Loveli, Anandpur in Samba constituency.
The protesting people alleged discrimination by the contractor R&B department in respect of construction work of road from Utter Behani, Anandpur, Loveli to Chilla Danga amounting to Rs 7.25 crores.
Protesters alleged that the contractor has stopped the work last year but now work for the construction of bridge on Devek Utter Behani has started however the construction of road delayed.
The public also demanded to change the water supply pipes of village Lovely.
BJP leader Arun Sharma assured the protesters that he will raise their demands before the concerned Advisor of the Lt Governor and will try to restart the construction work of road and change of supply line pipes for drinking water in village Lovely. |
