SUF pays tributes to Indian soldiers martyred at Galwan | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 21: A telephonic meeting of Sikh United Front (SUF) J&K, an amalgam of Various Sikh Organizations of J&K, held under the chairmanship of its chairman Sudershan Singh Wazir. Dayal Singh Wazir Chairman Shiromani Akali Dal J&K, H S Raina ex-General Secy DGPC Jammu, Mohinder Singh Chief Organizer Bhai Kaniya Nishkam Sewa Society J&K and ex-Member DGPC Jammu and Darbinder Singh President Shiromani Akali Dal J&K and Kulwant Singh Khajuria Joint Secretary Shiromani Akali Dal J&K were also present in the meeting. In the meeting, the J&K Sikh United Front paid tributes to the Indian soldiers martyred in the wake of a faceoff with Chinese army at Galwan valley in Ladakh on 15th & 16th June and expressed sympathies with the bereaved families. The J&K SUF appealed to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to announce Rs One crore ex-gratia and job to one member for survival of the family of martyred. The J&K Sikh United Front said that to uphold the integrity and sovereignty of the country the Sikh Community always stands with the nation. The Sikh community shared above 95% sacrifices for independence of the country and stood forefront during any crucial time. They demanded increase in quota for recruitment of Sikhs in army. The Sikh United Front appeals all the political parties of India to come on one platform setting aside political and ideological differences for the sake of the country.
