Bad condition of roads irks villagers of LOC 6/21/2020 11:25:40 PM M S Nazki EarlyTimes Report POONCH, June 21:Locals living near Line of Control have expressed their grave concern over bad condition of road between Barni Gali to village Burthi Panchayat in Balakote Tehsil of Mendhar area here today. The residents have appealed the concerned authorities to maintain the road at an earliest. A local waseem Akram Khan said that the condition of road is in dilapidated condition .He alleged that the officials of concerned department take no pains to expedite the construction work on this road. “Due to bad condition of road and lack of proper drainage system, the commuters are facing problems. This problem manifolds during rainy season, thus making road accident prone,” he said . The residents accused the authorities for not maintaining the road and showing apathy over this issue. They however, appealed the District Development Commissioner Poonch to intervene into the issue and make possible redressal of their problem.
