| GMC Jammu contests news report | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 22: Government Medical College, Jammu on Monday claimed that the news reports which appeared in the section of press about the GMC Principal were incorrect.
In a statement the GMC said, “The daily newspaper published many news items with different captions in the paper. The news reports were carried under the headlines “Before going into Quarantine Principal violates Government Order” dated 12 June 2020, “GMC Principal Violates Quarantine Norms, Chairs MBBS Exams meeting away from CCTVs” dated 14 June 2020 and “GMC Jammu Principal Violates Government Order designates faculty member as Academic Registrar” dated 20th June 2020.”
The GMC said that these news stories were published without taking the official version and “were not based on established protocol of quarantine and the relevant service rules.”
