SRINAGAR, June 26: A reshuffle in civil administration is likely to be ordered in the next week by the Union territory government wherein some senior officers would be shifted to other positions, ET has learnt.
Authoritative sources told Early Times that exercise for a reshuffle in civil administration has been set into motion with the proposals being processed for transfer of senior IAS officers and some HODs holding key positions in the state administration.
Sources said that in the likely reshuffle in civil administration several administrative secretaries are likely to be transferred.
Sources said that there was possibility of the replacement of one of the senior top IAS officers holding top position in the administrations, however there was no official confirmation about the top officials transfer.
Sources said that a number of HODs are believed to be shifted from present places of posting.
It is to mention here that the Jammu and Kashmir government on Wednesday ordered the transfer of four J&K police officers.
According to order, Sheikh Junaid Mehmood (JKPS), SSP CID (Hqrs.), J&K, was transferred and posted as SSP, APCR, Kashmir, vice Altaf Ahmad Khan.
Altaf Ahmad Khan (JKPS), SSP APCR, Kashmir, was transferred and posted as SSP, CID (CI), Kashmir, vice Wasim Qadri.
Mohammad Aslam (JKPS), awaiting orders of posting in the PHQ, was posted as SSP CID (Hqrs), J&K vice Sheikh Junaid Mehmood.
Wasim Qadri (JKPS), SP CID (CI) Kashmir, was transferred and posted as Commandant, JKAP-11th Battalion, against an available vacancy.
