47 fresh positive, 1824 cumulative cases, 10 recovered and 26 deaths till date in north Kashmir | | | S Tahir-ul Haq Early Times Report
BARAMULLA, July 3: Out of 170 cases, forty seven fresh positive cases were reported today, there are 683 active positive cases, 1824 are cumulative, 10 recovered and 26 deaths have occurred so far in north Kashmir as on date. According to the district wise positive cases that are available as on July 03, 2020 (Friday), In Baramulla district, 21 fresh positive cases were reported today, there has been an increase in the cumulative cases that have gone up to 949, and the active positive cases stands at 518, and cumulative recovered cases are 412, including of 03 while as 19 deaths have occurred so far in this district. In Kupwara district, 24 fresh positive cases reported today including 12 each as travelers and others, while as there are 577 cumulative cases, 153 are active positive cases, cumulative recovered 418 including of 05 as on date, and 06 deaths have occurred so far. In Bandipora district, 02 fresh positive cases have been reported in this north Kashmir district today, whereas 298 are cumulative cases, 32 are active positive, 265 are cumulative recovered including 02 recoveries as on date and 01 death has occurred so far. Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, G N Itoo today convened a meeting of concerned officers to discuss the arrangements being put in place for celebrating ‘Kissan Pakhwada’ scheduled to be organized from July 7 to July 21. On the occasion, a comprehensive discussion on the subject was held during which it was informed that the objective of ‘Kissan Pakhwada’ is to increase the flow of advances in agriculture sector and double the income of farmers by way of their involvement in agricultural related welfare schemes like KCC, PM-KISSAN and other welfare schemes. Speaking on the occasion, DC stressed upon all stakeholders to play a proactive role for making Kissan Pakhwada a successful mission in the district and ensure cent percent coverage of farmers under the purview of centrally sponsored PM Kissan and KCC schemes. He also deliberated for creating awareness with regard to the programme among people at different levels and emphasized upon the heads of various banks to complete the process of KCC loans so that the farmers does not face any inconvenience due to lack of financial capital. Furthermore, the DC urged upon all the stakeholders to follow all the guidelines and SOPs related to COVID-19 while carrying out activities related to the campaign.
