| AWWA delegation call on Mission Director ICDS | | |

Jammu, July 16: A delegation of Anganwadi Workers Welfare Association (AWWA) today called on Mission Director ICDS and submitted a memorandum of their demands. According to press release the delegation was led by Swarna Choudhary and Neelam Sharma President and General Secretary of the association.
The deputation members apprised him the grievances of the Aganwadi workers like pending salary, uniform, and implementation of order no 215 OF 2018 for enhancing state share of Rs 500/. It was also brought in the notice of Director that due to lack of proper information given by the block level officials sometimes problems erupted it was told by the director that special efforts were made and special nutrition has been distributed at aganwadi centres for distribution to eligible beneficiaries. The worthy director gave patient hearing and assured that pending salary and other issues will be sorted out shortly. |
