POONCH, July 16: Alleging discrimination with the ReK teachers, district Poonch unit of Rebhar-e-Khel Physical Teachers Association District Poonch said that even after qualifying MPED, MPhill, PHD, NET, SET and represented country at international level events they are unfortunately paid only Rs 3000 per month as wages.
In a statement issued here today, president of the Association’s Poonch unit, Pervaiz Malik Afridi said that while counterparts of J&K ReKs in other parts of the country are getting more than Rs 40000 per month, adding that it is a clear violation of minimum wages act. Even class 4th, orderlies, chowkidars, gardeners are paid more than ReKs while keeping them on 7yrs of probation is also unjustifiable.
He urged upon the PM, LG J&K, Union Sports Minister, Advisor to LG and others to revoke this draconian policy immediately and give ReKs justice against this discriminatory policy. |
