JAMMU, July 16: An executive body meeting of the Displaced Welfare Committee (DWC) was held today wherein the members expressed concern over the water scarcity. The members said that the water plant set up for Jagti camp has proved as a major liability and embarrassment to the concerned authority. The members appealed to the Relief Commissioner that the Ayushman scheme should be started for all the migrants because the economic condition of the migrants is going worse day by day and for filling the domicile form a team of concerned persons should be deputed to Jagti camp. The members thanked the Relief Commissioner for constructing the eight mini community halls which was the need of the community and hoped that the pending renovation which was held back due to Covid-19 and lockdown will be started at the proper time. The members who attended the meeting included AK Sadhu, Roshan Lal , Vijay Kumar, Ratan Lal, Ashwani, Bhushan Lal and others.
