Ill fated vehicle found from river Chenab, no trace of dead bodies | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, July 16: After the management of Dool-Hasti Power Project open the gates of Dool Dam, the rescuers who were looking for the dead bodies of two locals youths who drowned in River Chenab today found the ill fated vehicle, but there was no trace of the two missing persons who are on Board vehicle No. JK17/4446 while on its way from Cherji towards Arji. Speaking to Early Times, the officials inform that dead bodies of Rajesh Kumar (30 Yrs) Son of Kashmiri Lal Resident of Kawar Dool and Sandeep Singh (28 Yrs) Son of Sewa Ram Resident of Arji Dool who drowned yesterday evening are yet to be recovered added that the administration is doing every possible efforts to trace the missing persons. Meanwhile after fleshing the Dool-Hasti Dam water, police recovered one dead body near Assar Doda and according to the sources the preliminary investigation revealed that the dead body is that of one missing persons who lost his life in a accident at Shiliper Morh Padder over a month ago- However the final identification of the recovered dead body could be ascertained only after the identification from the family members. The place where the dead body recovers is about 100 KM from the Padder accident site and possibly travel to such long distance due to strong water currents of River Chenab. It is pertinent to mention that the dead bodies of 14 persons including six each from two accidents in Padder and two from yesterday accident.
