| Post of Tehsildar Beri Pattan lying vacant, people face hardships: JKPCC | | |

JAMMU, July 20: JK RTI Cell of JKPCC lambasted the Union Government and JK UT Government for their hollow slogans of providing facilities to the people of Jammu and Kashmir at their door steps as such assertions are unfounded. While issuing a press statement here today, Convener JK RTI Cell of JKPCC, Bhavishya Sudan said that people of tehsil Beri Pattan are being ignored by the present regime as the post of Tehsildar is lying vacant at this crucial time when process of issuing domicile has been started in whole of the union territory of J&K and various posts have been advertised for recruitment by the JKSSB and J&K Bank.
He further stated that more than 3000 online forms have been submitted on the official website for issuance of domicile certificate but are still unprocessed due to vacant post of the Tehsildar Beri Pattan due to which not even a single domicile certificate has been issued to the residents of Tehsil till date.
It is stated that the Tehsildar Siot who has additional charge of tehsil Beri Pattan is overburdened and not able to handle the affairs of both the tehsils simultaneously.
It is urged to Lt Governor as well as Principal Secretary Revenue to fill the vacant post of Tehsildar with immediate effect in the interest of general public of tehsil Beri Pattan. |
