PDP shuts its office after Jammu based secular leaders, workers desert ‘communal’ party
7/20/2020 11:47:42 PM

Early Times Report

Jammu, July 20: Mehbooba Mufti’s PDP has shut-down its office of Jammu as workers from this part of the UT are hesitating to work for the party after PDP leadership has decided to pursue separatist agenda by brazenly abandoning Mufti Mohammad Sayeed’s progressive and secular policies.
Credible sources said that Jammu office of PDP, situated at Gandhi Nagar has been locked after direction from the high-command. Pandemic COVID-19 is not the cause of shutting the office but party leadership is facing problems because none of the mature and credible leaders from Jammu region is ready to work for the party.
Credible sources said Jammu based leaders have realized that working with a party, which is now openly pursuing an anti-national and separatist agenda, would dent their image in the society because during the last some months PDP leadership has crossed all limits in appeasing anti-national elements.
Credible sources said that almost all Jammu based senior leaders have become inactive especially during the last one month. Except some Jammu based incredible leaders and workers, all seasoned and mass base leaders have become inactive.
After the demise of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, PDP has changed its character and policies as party leadership had started pursuing separatist agenda. After BJP dumped the party and came out of the coalition, PDP leadership had started openly following a divisive and communal agenda by abandoning the secular agenda of its founder late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. Credible sources said that after demise of statesman Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, who was secular from core of his heart, leadership with communal and parochial mindset has completely hijacked the party and secular and progressive agenda of late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed has been replaced with communal and divisive agenda to pursue politics of ‘competitive communalism and separatism’ with arch rival NC.
