Jammu, July 27:Demanding flyover at Amb Ghrota, the resident of the Kot Panchyat today held a protest against National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), fearing frequent accidents when the road will open for traffic.
The residents of Kot Panchyat block Bhalwal today staged a demonstration against NHAI and demanded the safe crossing as the ring road being merged with Amb Grota road.
“Crossing at the Amb Ghrota, may cause frequent road accidents, if timely actions are not taken”, Rajat Soodan, a social activist.
He urged upon the district administration and NHAI authorities to build a flyover for safe crossing at point in question. Sarpanch of Bhalwal Raj Dev Singh, Rajat Sudan also submitted a memorandum to Tehsildar Bhalwal Amit Upadhyay for timely and positive actions into the matter.
