| GDC Nowshera hosts poster making competition | | World Nature Conservation Day | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, July 27: Department of Botany, Government Degree College, Nowshera organized an Inter-collegiate poster making contest to mark the World Nature Conservation Day.
The theme of the competition was “Nature Conservation During The Covid-19 Pandemic”. Around 22 students of various institutions from across J&K participated expressed their innovative ideas on the conservation of nature. Rubal Jasrotia from GDC Kathua and Manik Kumar from GCET, shared First place, while the Second position was shared by Sakshi Sharma from CU, Jammu and Vashali Jamwal from KC College of Education, Jammu. The third position was also shared by 2 Tania Choudhary from NNP Hr. Sec. Nowshera and Manik from University of Jammu. “Certificates of Merit” were awarded to the toppers while all the other participants were provided “Certificates of Participation.” |
