Jammu, July 27: A plantation drive cum COVID-19 awareness program was launched by Nehru Yuva Kendra Jammu (Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India) at village Katal Batal Block Nagrota in which more than 200 saplings of different varieties including seasonal fruits and medicinal Plants were planted by National Youth Volunteers, Youth Club Members and People of the respected Village. More than 30 Participants participated in this Drive. Nisar Ahmed Butt (DYC, Nehru Yuva Kendra Jammu), Parveen Akhter (National Youth Volunteer, Block Nagrota), Reema Jamwal (National Youth Volunteer Block Nagrota), Kuldeep Raj, Jamal Din, Noor Ahmed, Shabir Ahmed, Suriya Begum, Uzma Bibi, Zeitoun Bibi, Tara Bibi, Amina Akhter, Shamim Begum, Nadeem Akhter, Shafiq Hussain, Bini Akhter were also present on this occasion. Nissar Ahmed Butt (District Youth Coordinator) and Parveen Akhter (National Youth Volunteer) also briefs the participants about the impact of ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic. They briefed the participants how to protect themselves from Covid-19 by following simple steps and guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO) like - Maintaining Social Distancing, Regular Hand Washing, To keep Hygiene, Use of Sanitizer and Soap, Wearing Face Mask, How to keep your immunity Strong as the COVID-19 Pandemic is increasing day by day. |
