JKTJAC holds online meet to discuss burning issues | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 27: An online meeting of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Joint Action Committee ( JKTJAC) was held under the chairmanship of UT president Vinod Sharma. While speaking with the participants Sharma highlighted the burning issues of the teachers and sought their resolution from the concerned authorities. He sought the kind attention of worthy DSEJ/DSEK towards the left out RRETs who haven’t been converted to teachers Grade II/III due to various reasons and suffering badly. He urged them (DSEJ/DSEK) to fix divisional level committees to for the conversion of he same. He also urged them to issue the regularisation lists of left out ReTs whose files are lying in Directorates (some are due since 2018) so that these teachers be converted to Teachers Grade II/III and their salary issue get resolved. He also raised the issue of transfer policy for ReT borne teachers including 3rd teachers, Teachers Grade II and Teachers Grade III who have been working in the same schools for last 15 to 20 years and this stagnation is torturing thousands of these teachers mentally. He said that even High court had given judgment to transfer these teachers at par with the other General line teachers after their regularization but still the directions are awaited from the administrative deptt. He urged up on the Principal Secretary School Education to look into this grave issue and comprehensive transfer policy be made for these teachers. He also urged him to convert the posts of head teachers into masters under non plan in all SSA schools so that salary issue of head teachers be resolved and also urged for holding DPC of teachers to mastrs in the UT as same hasn’t been done since February 2014. |
