SEWA expresses concern over open manholes | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, July 27: Shamshaan Enlightenment Welfare Association (SEWA) Jammu and Kashmir has expressed concern over two open manholes on the road leading to cremation ground. According to press release, president Jagdish Sharma, Ex Sub Tek Chand Raina and Pt Chaman Lal Sharma have observed with concern that two main holes of the gutter / septic tank are without cover and are opened since its inauguration during Apr 2018 posing a threat to life of people particularly old age attending cremation at Indira Nagar Shamshaan Ghat. “These main holes are near hand pump and washroom / bathroom of the cremation ground which is used by everyone for washing and bathing. Therefore attention of concerned authority / department is drawn for covering these main holes to avoid any untoward incident or loss of life”, they said. |
