| TWA demands exemption from Toll Tax | | |

Jammu, July 27: Teacher's Welfare Association President & senior Trade Union leader, Jasmeet Singh Madaan has demanded announcement of waiving off Toll Tax for employees/students, restoration of 4G connectivity, regularisatIon of Daily Rated Workers & implementation of Minimum Wages Act on the historic day of August 5 as a gift to Union Territory employees/students.
In view of Covid 19 restrictions, students/teachers are taking online classes which on ground is practically not working to the satisfaction of students/ Teacher's besides meetings at Zoom is also not giving desired results and keeping in view the concerns of Teacher's/student's, T.W.A requests Prime Minister, Narinder Modi and Home Minister, Amit Shah to start 4G connectivity to the UT of Jammu and Kashmir on its announcement date of formation i.e. August 5. Similarly the toll tax for employees/student's who have to travel daily on their own vehicles for jobs/studies should be exempted too and this announcement should also come from PMO on historic day of August 5. Madaan hoped that other slew of measures like regularisation and implementation of Minimum Wages Act be also considered as a gift to Daily Wagers on this auspicious day. |
