JKECTWS dissolved, adhoc commitee constituted to manage affairs | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 27: J&K Excise & Commercial Taxes Welfare Society (JKECTWS) has been dissolved and an adhoc body was constituted to look after the affairs of the Society in the interim. The decision to dissolve the present body was taken in a meeting of the executive members of the society held here today at Gandhi Nagar under the chairmanship of the Secretary General of the Society. During the meeting, wherein 14 members were present, it was unanimously decided that the working of the president Vijay Kumar Sharma is against the bye-laws of the Society as mentioned in Rule No 2 i.e. Aims & Objectives of the Society. Moreover, he has also not conducted AGM for the last four years neither he has conducted executive body meeting which is mandatory atleast once in a year. The members of the Executive Body have decided unanimously to dissolve J&K Excise & Commercial Taxes Welfare Society forthwith and an Adhoc Body was formed to run affairs till the election which shall be held after Covid-19 pandemic subsides. It has been resolved that Hakam Singh shall be the Chairman of the Adhoc Committee along with previous Executive Body members. |
