Jammu, Aug 20: At least 11 people suffered injuries, four critically, when a taxi they were traveling in met with an accident in Mendhar area of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. Station House Officer, Police Station Mendhar, Manzoor Ahmed Kohli here said that a Sumo taxi on its way from Bhera to Mendhar met with an accident when it reached Mohalla Barwala this morning in which 11 people suffered injuries. Kohli said that rescue operations were immediately launched and confirmed that four are in a critical condition right now. Seven of the injured have been identified as Muzammal Hussain of Salwah, Ishaq Ahmed of Bhera, Wazir Mohd of Salwah, Mohd Ayub of Salwah, Waseem Ahmed of Bhera, Moin Ali of Bhera and Raqeeb Hussain of Bhera, they have been admitted to Sub District Hospital Mendhar while Mazar Hayat, Majid Ali, Mohd Sageer, all residents of Bhera and Raza Majeed of Topa have been referred to the Rajouri Hospital.
