| NGO distributes masks, sanitizers among masses | | |

Jammu, Aug 20: A Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) MUKTI today organized an awareness programme in in block Mandal of Jammu district wherein masks and sanitizers were distributed amongst the villagers.
During the program Panchayat members, prominent people of the area, senior citizens and Anganwadi workers also remained present.
During the interaction with the villagers, Nidhi Sharma, Chairperson of the organization appreciated the local Panchayat representatives for their cooperation in conducting such awareness programs for rural population and appealed the people to follow the basic health guidelines of regularly washing hands, wearing mask, properly wash eatables brought from market and maintaining social distance.
Mahant Harey Ram Dass, Chairperson of SHRD Public School Mandal also spoke on the occasion and underlined the importance of immunity booster diet to fight against the corona virus. Other people who spoke during the program include Somnath Dogra, Sarpanch of Mandal Panchayat, Mandal and Pooja Sharma , General Secretary of the Mukti NGO. |
