Udhampur, Aug 29: J&K unit of Pradhan Mantri Jan KalyanKari Yojana Prachar Prasar Abhiyan (PMJKYPPA) conducted a meeting at Udhampur to discuss and impart awareness of the schemes launched by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the welfare of people of the country. The meeting was organized by Karnail Singh, President Udhampur unit of PMJKYPPA in which Tarsem Singh Manhas, J&K Convenor presided over. The meeting was conducted on the directions of Pashesh Arya, National Media In-charge; Shailendra Vijayvargiya, J&K Province In-charge and under the leadership of Shamsher Singh, President of District Samba, abiding by the social distancing and COVID-19 norms. In the meeting, District President Udhampur, Karnail Singh presented a welcome address and threw light on the purpose of holding this meeting. Speaking on the occasion, Manhas said that there is dire need to take this Abhiyan at grass root level so that maximum number of people would be benefitted by getting the right information of schemes initiated by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He instructed all the officials to appoint members in all the blocks of the district and at Panchayat level also. Manhas asserted that this campaign has been initiated to guarantee proper implementation and accomplishment of different plans launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Later, Manhas thanked everyone and appealed to all to contribute together to make this campaign a success. Among others who were present included Surinder Singh State General Secretary, State Vice President Manu Mahajan, Secretary Rohit Anand, District General Secretary Gaurav Gupta, District General Secretary Kathua Sohan Singh, Dalveer Singh, District Vice President Gopal Krishna, Surinder Kumar, Milkhi Ram, Rajinder Kumar, Anil Sharma District General Secretaries Veer Singh, Virendra Singh and many others.
