Jammu, Aug 31: The Mediation and Conciliation Committee of High Court of Jammu and Kashmir has concluded its 20 hours online refresher Mediation training programme for judicial officers of Jammu province. Chief Justice, Justice Gita Mittal patron-in-chief and the members of committee emphasized upon the importance of mediation as “Alternate Dispute resolution Mechanism and despite global pandemic of covid-19, has emphasized the need for training and preparedness.” A handout said Justice Tashi Rabstan, Justice Sindhu Sharma, Justice Rajneesh Oswal and Justice Javed Iqbal Wani had approved and devised the module of training of referral judges. “The resource persons, who had imparted extensive training through online mode, include Dr Sudhir Jain Distt and session Judge, Dharmesh Sharma District and Session Judge , Sr Adv JP Singh, Adv Veena Ralli , Adv Sumit Chander and Adv Mitali Gupta,” the handout said. The programme was coordinated by Registrar Rules Masarat Roohi (Distt and Session Judge). |
