Ten senior political activists join Apni party in Kashmir | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Aug 31: Ten senior political activists , mostly panchayat representatives, joined Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (AP) on Monday, a spokesman of the AP claimed. He said those who joined the AP included two vice chairpersons of Block Development Councils (BDCs) of Sangrama and Zingeer Sopore . He said these political activists were welcomed by the AP president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari into party fold in the presence of several party leaders. The new entrants to the party expressed their desire to use their services for a tangible change in their respective areas under the guidance and leadership of AP. “We found JKAP an effective political platform wherein the leadership has adopted a practical approach to resolve the public grievances. The leadership of Bukhari and his political vision is a blend of experience and conviction. His honest and pragmatic approach has motivated all of us to join AP,” they observed. On this occasion, the AP President lauded the role and contribution of the new entrants in development and mitigation of sufferings of people in their respective areas. “I am of firm belief that the political activists who joined AP today would bring a positive change on the ground. They would render their services reaching out to the people in their respective areas and strengthen the party at the grassroots level,” Bukhari observed. |
