Kathua, Sep 2: Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua organized a webinar on the topic ‘Raise your Voice: Women Safety and Empowerment.’
The guest speakers for the event were Avny Lavasa, Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation, a dynamic lady full of substance and PD Nitiya, SP Jammu (North), a youth icon and role model for many. They both delivered their pearls of wisdom and enlightened the masses for raising their voices against any crime. They emphasized on women being aware of their rights, on creating a sexual harassment committee in all institutions whether be organized institutions or unorganized, they spoke about sensitizing men as well about women safety.
They discussed many laws and regulations which has been enforced by the government for the safety of women and shared their insightful perceptive on women empowerment and encouraged all the women out there that how important it is to speak out at the first place. The other eminent guests on the panel were Rohini Aima, Vice Chairperson, Jammu Sanskriti Schools, Harpreet Singh Anand, Chairman Jammu Sanskriti Schools, Dr Kunal Anand, Principal, DPS Udhampur.
The Guests speakers congratulated and lauded the efforts of Jammu Sanskriti School and Erudite Events for organising such a mindful session on a burning topic like this.
