| Threats won’t deter Congress Cadres from defeating nefarious designs of terrorists | | |

Jammu, Sept 13:- Congress has strongly condemned the threat to several political leaders including Congress party and termed it a cowardly act of frustrated Cadres of PAK sponsored terrorists. Reacting to the development, JKPCC Chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma said that such cowardly acts would not deter the Congress Cadres committed to the the cause of nation from the path of defeating the designs of terrorists and their mentors in Pakistan and continue serving the people besides strengthening democracy against all odds.
However he said that the top leadership of the congress party and Congress Cadres are carrying on the political activities against the designs of militants, at great risk of their lives, as the present dispensation under command of ruling BJP, have either withdrawn or downgraded the security cover of most of the party leaders, as compared to the leaders of the ruling party and others of the same stature or designations which is unfortunate .
He hoped the security agencies would take due cognizance of the situation and do the needful required in such matters to ensure due security cover to all those who are vulnerable to the nefarious designs of terrorists.
