EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Sept 13: All India Kissan Sabha (AIKS) Jammu today highlighted the problems of farmers of Jammu region and appealed the government to address them. Addressing press conference, Com. Rakesh Sharma leader of All India Kissan Sabha demanded that the procurement system by the government should be immediately announced at Block and Panchyat level for paddy crops. They also demanded Kissan Mandi in every colony of Jammu city for providing marketing support to vegetable growers and get the rate of vegetables. "Wave off interest of agriculture loan/KCC for the period of lockdown for the relief of formers, make arrangements of seed and fertilizer by agriculture department at panchyat levels", they also demanded. Vijay Kumar, Com. Chander Bhushan, Ashok Kumar, Harish Kumar were also present during press conference. |
