| Mahila Morcha pays tributes to Tika Lal Taploo | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Sept 13: Activists of Bharatiya Janata Party Kashmir Displaced District Mahila Morcha and youth wing paid floral tributes to Amar Shaheed Tika Lal Taploo during a function held at Jagti camp near here today.
While paying rich tributes to late leader BJP KDD Mahila Morcha activists led by its district president Dolly Raina termed him a great and visionary leader of Kashmiri Pandit community who was martyred in broad daylight by armed insurgents way back on September 13,1989 in Srinagar.
Deliberating upon the importance of the historic day, vice president Meenakshi Wali said that leaders like Tika Lal Taploo are beacon light for the underprivileged communities and the lesson of unity and togetherness the late leader taught us while offering his sacrifice for the nation is to be remembered for times to come.
Those who attended the function include Sujata Koul, Meenakshi Handoo, Shashi Bala, youth leader Aman Kapoor and others. |
