JAMMU, Sep 14: A week long “Sharda Mahotsav-2020” organized by MK Arts & Research Foundation culminated here today. In view of the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic, this grand historical festival was organized through digital online media format. Prior or post migration, the programme was devoted to Sharda Devi, the Goddess of Learning Music, Knowledge & Fine Arts being Adhishthatri Devi of Kashmir having its own significance, importance, history, cultural heritage depicting “Namastay Sharda Devi-Kashmir Purwasiny”. Highlights of this grand festival was presentation of programmes through online digital media format covering different fields of music, dance, webinar, art, literature, paintings, history, rituals, customs and costumes while mythological aspects were also brought up for viewers online direct from highly professional, well equipped, multi-camera setup of RMK Studio on (RMK Radio & RMK TV). Most famous and renowned nationally and internationally acclaimed writers, poets, dancers, artists, historians, painters and critics took part in this week long festival. |
