Jammu, Sep 14: GDC Khour celebrated Hindi Diwas. The event organised by Dr. Sunil Kumar Saliada (HOD Hindi) under the guidance of Prof. Hans Raj Principal of the College. To celebrate the Hindi Diwas, an online Hindi poetry competition was held in which participants from various universities and colleges (viz. University of Jammu, Dr. Harisingh Gour University, Sagar M.P, Cluster University of Jammu, Ramanunjan College Delhi, GDC Khour, GDC Billawar etc) participated.
The poem ‘Badal Ka Saar’ written by Ruksana, Research Scholar Hindi University of Jammu won the first place. The second place given to the peom ‘Kyun’ wirtten by Vanshika Sharma, Sem. 4th School of Sciences, Cluster University of Jammu. The third place given to the poem ‘Naukri Ki Yaad Mein’ written by Ankush Sharma, Sem. 6th GDC Khour. All participants were given e-certificates. Principal of the College appreciated the efforts made by the Department of Hindi and congratulated the participants for their overwhelming participation in the poetry competition.
