9/15/2020 1:50:11 AM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 14: Kashmiri Pandit Conference( KPC) observed 31 th martyrs day as "Black Day '' today by wearing black badges as a mark of protest against the killing of innocent Kashmiri pandits by the pro-Pak terrorists and others during the turmoil in the valley..
KPC, Gen-secretary H.L. Saraf , Sr. vice President Tej Pandita, Secretary SusheelJI Bhat and other leaders and activists paid rich tribute to all KP Martyrs as well as security forces who laid down their lives for the unity and security of the country at different prayer meets organised at their respective location which include Delhi, Jammu, Gurgaon, Pune and other places. They said the Hindu minorities of the State can't forget this saddest day when they were attacked and killed brutally, and this was the day when the seeds of a communal movement were sown by radical forces in the Valley and the ethnic cleansing of Pandits in 1989-90 was the result of the same.

. While stressing for one place settlement of KP,s in valley( separate Kashyap Bhoomi ) KPC leaders , Dr.HL Saraf and Tej Pandita stated that no doubt abrogating the Article 370 is a historical and game changer decision of Sh. Modi ji Government, but a halfway decision by only declaring Ladakh and J&K as union territories, ignoring the Kashmiris Pandits genuine demand of separate Kashyap Bhoomi with writ of Indian constitution in the valley for the victim KP community for which they have been struggling for the last thirty one years in exile and were hopeful that Modi ji Government would accede this demand .They strongly demanded for carving out separate Kashyap Bhoomi for the Kashmiri Pandits at the as early as possible, so that KPs as community will live together to save their culture and serve the nation They thanked all KPC activists, supporters and sympathizers who observed this martyrs day as black day as a mark of protest against the community atrocities and human right violations. They also appealed all nationalist forces,in particular KP,s to come together to defeat our enemies, divisive forces and their designs to save unity and integrity of our nation
