Jammu, Sept 16: 7th International Online Art Exhibition organized by Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu, in the memory of Late Gobind Kaur, 1st contemporary woman sculptor of Jammu, J&K, to commemorate her death anniversary on 11th August, concluded today. The paintings, drawings and sculptures of more than 160 artists from eight countries including artists from twenty two states/ union territories of the country were displayed in the exhibition. According to O P Sharma, Director, JKCCA & Curator of the show, ‘The exhibition has been a great success. He said that JKCCA is regularly holding shows and other art & cultural events even during the hard times. Late Gobind Kaur, a well known artist, had been the student of Late V R Khajuria, a renowned sculptor of Jammu. Her art pieces have been displayed at various places in the country and abroad. She was honoured by many organizations for her contribution in the field of sculpture and graphic prints.
