BMS demands reimbursement of ESI medical claim bills | | | EarlyTimes Report
Jammu, Sept 16: Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) has demanded reimbursement of ESI medical claims as well as EPF of the employees. According to press release, a general meeting of the industrial workers held at Brai Brahamana which was addressed by senior leader of Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh and in charge private sector workers Harbbans Choudhary and Ashok Choudhary Gen.Sec. BMS. While addressing the workers Choudhary highlighted that medical bills for reimbursement are laying pending since 2018 in all over the state in corers but due to the negligence of the state Govt who is dealing with very casual approach for making arrangement of payments and poor workers those who hardly get very low wages are waiting for reimbursement of their bills which they had paid from their pockets and are facing financial hardships and suffering. That and same is the position of Provident Fund as workers those who retire or left the services and had applied for withdrawal of PF advance etc. are also not being paid due to non availability of cash in P.F bank Account it is also pertinent to mention here that From November 2019 the central Govt EPFO has taken over J&K PFO but due to non seriousness and cooperation on the part of state PF organisation officials the transfer of subscribers accounts and PF stands in their accounts has not been transferred so for intentionally despite making numbers of deadlines fixed in this regard and poor subscribers are suffering it is pertinent to mention here that both ESI and PF organisations charges administration expanses from employers but not answerable to workers and poor workers are suffering due to casual approach and mal practices in these departments . BMS appealed to L.G to intervene and monitor the functioning of these departments periodically as workers are the sufferer and direct the department to release funds for disposal of ESI bills and PF payments and further request to direct the officials to arrange camps in industrial areas on the same analogy of Back to Village for hearing the grievances of workers. |
