| CSD appeals LG to regularize daily wagers | | | Jammu, Oct 6: J&K Congress Seva Dal leader Sanjay Manhas wrote a letter to J&K UT Lieutenant Governor to redress and regularize the daily wagers, Sanjay Manhas wrote latter that the approximately 60,000 daily wagers recruited in the different departments of the union territory of J&K. Also said That those recruited daily wagers are suffering due to the shortage of salaries and no upliftment policy favouring them. Also, Sanjay said that after the abrogation article 370 it was expected to have some good laws and policies in the employment sector for the employees but the sufferance of those employees remains as it is as before. Further, Sanjay said that the C category labourers of the sind forest division, their regularisation of services as well as their pending salaries. Also, NYC, as well as the Rehbar e Khel workers even, did not get their basic salaries. Sanjay added that till this date there is no positivity has been observed towards the daily wagers and the earning of the bread and butter is too much hectic for them in the scenario where there is so much hype in rates of basic necessities.
