BDC Chairperson appeals Duloo for early start of construction work | Trauma Hospital Jhajjar Kotli gets LG’s nod | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 6: Lt Governor of J&K Union Territory has given nod to the Trauma Hospital, Jhajjar Kotli which will help in strengthening patient care in event of emergencies. This was disclosed by BDC Chairperson of Block Dansal, Reena Thapa while speaking at the Back to Village 3 programme held here today. On the occasion, Financial Commissioner Health, Atal Duloo along with officials of several government departments were also present. “The hospital will be constructed at Jhajjar Kotli Panchayat of Dansal block,” the BDC Chairperson said. The BDC Chairperson expressed gratitude to the Lt Governor for giving approval of Trauma Hospital which will be proved a milestone for people of Block Dansal, adding that the facility was the dire need in the area. The BDC Chairperson appealed to the Financial Commissioner Health and Medical Education, Atal Dulloo to start the construction work of the hospital at the earliest. Reena Thappa also urged the Financial Commissioner to upgrade the existing Primary Health Center (PHC) at Headquarter Dansal and the same should be upgraded to the Sub- District Hospital so that people of the Block would get better healthcare facilities at the nearest possible locality. The BDC Chairperson appealed the people to cooperate with the administration in carrying out developmental works and hoped that the forthcoming hospital would be completed in a time bound manner. The Financial Commissioner listened to the grievances and demands of local people including irregular power supply, up-gradation of Primary School Dhammi to next level, dilapidated condition of roads, development of Jhajjar Kotli, etc. He directed the senior officers of the concerned departments for timely redressal of the grievances pertaining to their respective departments. |
