10/6/2020 11:31:26 PM

Early Times Report

Jammu, Oct 6: JK Teachers Association has shown anguish against government for the step mother treatment with Gradell/lll ll teachers.
In a statement issued by UT President of Association Bhupinder Singh lambasted authorities that firstly misuse the guidelines of IMPACT training for which the matter was taken by JKTA with Director Samagra Shiksha Arun Manhas and he resolved the issue on spot.
“But now few unfortunate news have came which will not be tolerated in any way. That the Officer Namely Bilal Ahmed Bhat Assistant Commissioner in the office of Divisional Commissioner Kashmir who was deployed in B2V in Village Arigam-A Tehsil Khansahib District Badgam as Visiting officer has insulted our Grade ll teacher in public, is a shameful act by him. That the teacher namely Abid Hussain posted at PS Peer Mohalla Arigam zone Khansahib was on duty assigned by department was disgraced by the said officer on the basis of dress code in presence of public and other officials, while the Grade ll teacher was in decent dress”, The association observed.
Singh appealed to UT administration for taking an appropriate action against the said Officer well in time otherwise JKTA will announce an agitation for the same in front of Divisional Commissioner office Kashmir.
Singh said another matter was brought by the Zonal President JKTA kalakot Kulbeer Singh that chief education officer Rajouri has suspended him without making any enquiry. The grade ll Teacher Kulbeer Singh who is posted at PS Sounchal was doing his duty as COVID 19 warrior under the control of executive Magistrate.
Singh said that CEO Rajouri has given the reference of sharing the positive history of patient who was declared positive on July 10,2020 , That the media has already highlighted the history of the patient that 98 year old lady has defeated the Crona for which the news were published by different newspapers, Singh added.
Whereas the then CEO Ram Saroop was responsible for the issue and the present CEO has taken charge after 20 July 2020 and the background of suspension of Gradell Teacher clearly shows that Kulbeer Singh is Zonal President of JKTA and highlights the problems face by teachers and CEO Rajouri suspended him on the verge of Association .Despite it ,Singh added that there is huge discrimination in release of arrears of grade ll and lll for which CEO Rajouri has choosen favourites zone for disbursal ,Misappropriation in disbursement of children Allowance, stoppage of salaries of Teachers of zone Peeri only without making any enquiry ,Harassment to female teachers of Rajouri and non compliance of detachment order by higher authorities by CEO Rajouri.
Bupinder Singh warned CEO Rajouri to reinstate the suspension of Kulbeer Singh Gradell Teacher and resolve all pending issues of teachers at District level within short span of time otherwise strong protest will be held.
